Nagpur: Nagpur is ready to witness playing of Garba, Dandiya, Fasting and scrumptious food as the nine day celebration of Goddess Durga’s nine avatars has started.
The festival of Navratri which commemorates the triumph of good over evil is here. During Navratri, the Goddess Durga, or the mother goddess, is worshipped in each of her nine forms, with each day having a different ritual associated with it.
The city is being lit up with flamboyant Durga Pandals and the festive mood of people is back after ten days of Shraaddha. From fasting to dancing, the city is to witness a lot of vibrancy in next nine days.
