Addl Commissioner Ram Joshi, 21 other officials retire from NMC service

Nagpur: Along with 21 other officers, Additional Commissioner Ram Joshi retired from Nagpur Municipal Corporation after a long service on Wednesday.

Commissioner and Administrator Radhakrishnan B felicitated Joshi on behalf of all the officers of the Municipality and expressed his regard for Joshi for providing his services to the administration for almost 32 years. “His eagerness to learn new things even at the age of retirement is an inspiration to all” said Radhakrishnan.

Joshi said “I am happy that I got the opportunity to work for this city”. Many officers said that Joshi was like a mentor.

The program was coordinated by Public Relations Officer Manish Soni.

The other officers who retired on Wednesday include Medical Officer Bhavna Sonkusare, Junior Engineer P R Ukebante, Junior Engineer Ramesh Hiraman Kohod, Fire Officer Manohar Gharpande, and other employees S A Rothod, Anant Laxmanrao Dev, Md. Abdul Kabir, Prakash Ramachandra Gaidhane, Ramesh Damodhar Padghan, H.H. Shelarkar, Shakeel Ahmed Abdul Majid, Tukaram Anandrao Mende, Indira Mahipat Gaydhane, Eknath Balakrishna Parate, Md. Nizamuddin Md. Ibrahim Ansari, Sanjay Madhukar Pund, Chitra Shankar Waghmare, Vanita Arun Bramhe, Rekha Hiraman Gajbhiye (Bagde), Fahmita Abdul Latif Sheikh, and Akila Khan Shakeel Ahmed.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Prakash Varade, Head of Solid Waste Management Department Dr Gajendra Mahalle, Assistant Superintendent Rajkumar Meshram felicitated everyone by giving them shawls and shriphals.
