Nagpur: The police had made full arrangement to control the rampaging mobs during the new year celebrations. On the 31 Dec night celebration the people get sozzled and in such a state create a rumpus on roads.
Due to this the police had planned a massive drive against the drunken driving. Under this action was taken against 770 people. This action was taken in all the areas of the city This year there was a rise in drunken driving cases compared to last year. Last year action was taken against 572 people. In Nagpur the drunken drive cases were more than Mumbai where action was taken against 613 people.
