Nagpur: A tema of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team on Tuesday, nabbed the police constable of Hudkeshwar police station for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 from accused who were booked in a case of accident.

The accused cop identified as Sanjay Gaidhane, has been booked by the ACB under relevant sections of IPC.

The accused cop had reportedly demanded Rs 20,000 as a bribe from complainant Nishant Nagulwar and Rahul Chikluwar in an accident case. Subsequently the duo filed a complaint against him with the ACB.

Following the verification of the compliant the ACB laid a trap near Nandanlal Sahu Sabhagruha on Hudkeshwar road, early morning on Tuesday and caught the cop red handed while he was accepting the amount.
