Absconding criminals from Hinganghat fire at cops at Bada Tajbagh area


Nagpur: In another daring act of criminal elements, some absconding criminals from Hinganghat fired at the cops at Buggewar Square near Bada Tajbagh area in the noon on April 27, 2016.

According to sources, a team of Police Officer and constables of Hinganghat Police had arrived in the morning of April 27, 2016 and had approached Sakardhara Police Station and had requested them to help them nab some absconding criminals from Hinganghat (Wardha District). The cops of Hinganghat had received a tip off early in the morning on April 27, 2016 that the absconding criminals from Hinganghat are surreptitiously moving near Bada Taj Bagh area, in Nagpur in a Chevrolet Tavera SUV.

The cops of Hinghanghat rushed to Nagpur and after informing the Sakardhara Police Station took some of the cops from Sakardhara Police Station and approached the Bada Taj Bagh area. The cops of Hinganghat knew that these absconding criminals were armed and could be dangerous.

When the cops neared Buggewar Square near Bada Tajbagh, they found the Chevrolet Tavera SUV bearing RTO No. MH-31/ CA-2365 stationery. The absconding accuseds too were standing outside the Tavera. One of the accused noticed the cops and since he identified one of the cops from Hinghanghat, he took out his mouser gun and fired at the cops. The entire incident then resembled a filmy script and the cops took cover of their car.
However, the cops then slowly using their skills, knack and practically risking their own life, approached the car and managed to nab all the accused.


The accused were identified as Avinash Manoharrao Navarkhede a

ged 30 years and resident of Hinganghat and Shubham Rameshrao Londe aged 20 years and a resident of Hinganghat.

During the search and frisking, the cops found two mousers guns and one big knife. The cops then seized the Chevrolet Tavera SUV used by the absconding criminals and the weapon including two Mouser guns and one big knife and the two criminal and brought them to Sakardhara Police Station.

The cops of Sakardhara Police informed all the senior police officials of the city. Within minutes, many senior police officials reached the Sakardhara Police Station.

Till the filing of the story, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-IV) Ishu Sindu and other senior cops were questioning the accused.
