About Rs 80,000 fine recovered from rash-drivings

Nagpur: The MIDC Hingna traffic police department, under the guidance of Police Inspector Sanjay Pande, has launched a special drive against rash-driving under its police station jurisdiction, with the help of a digital device, called ‘speed gun.’ The speed gun immediately indicates the speed of any vehicle being driven. The police has taken action against as many as 414 rashly driven vehicles and recovered a fine of Rs 80,000 from them so far.

The citizens have hailed this step taken by police which will help in controlling the road-accidents, and also check inconvenience caused to the citizens. It will also check the youngsters who tend to speed up while riding bikes or driving. Hingna PI Sanjay Pande, PSI Yada, HC Shukla and other police personnel have appealed to the riders/ drivers to ride/ drive under control, informed our Hingna based correspondent.
