AAP’s transgender candidate wins in MCD polls

Bobi, the AAP candidate from Sultanpuri-A ward, wins. For the first time, the MCD will have a member of the transgender community.

The Aam Aadmi Party crossed the halfway mark in the counting of votes in 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections, as per the latest trends on Wednesday, hinting that the exit polls which predicted the party’s edge were right.
