AAP forms “Aam Admi Shahar Vikas Manch” to contest next NMC poll

Nagpur: The city unit of Aam Admi Party (AAP), in a meeting of key activists, has decided to contest the next elections of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, indirectly. The aspiring candidates of the party would be in the fray independently under the banner of newly formed “Aam Admi Shahar Vikas Manch.”

The meeting was attended prominently by Bhai Jammu Anand, Ravikant Wagh, Arif Dosani, Sanjay Singh, Amitabh Daral, Deepak Sane, Adv Arvind Waghmare, Moreshwar Khorgade, Manoj Soni, Imran Alam, M Z Qazi, Farooq Kaisar, Rashida Begum, Chetna Dhoke, Sangita Kamble, Laxmikant Dadve, Faiyyaz Alam, Rajkumar Kamble, Pradep Hazare, Nasir Patel, Kundan Bhimte, Ritesh Dhoke and many others.

“The Manch has been for formed to provide an alternative forum to the citizens. The AAP has requested all the active workers, activists fighting for issues of people, people connected with workers unions, youths, and common people with clean image to come forward and fight the election for serving the interests of citizens,” the APP said.

Aspiring candidates can contact Imran Alam (Mobile 9823355316) at party’s office situated at Rai Ashiana (Old Noga Factory), Kadbi Chowk, Motibagh Road. The necessary application forms will be made available to the aspiring candidates soon. For providing further information, the party has appointed three spokesmen. They are Arif Dosani, Ravikant Wagh and Manoj Soni.
