Nagpur: A US-based NRI doctor sent an email to Nagpur Today and shared a pleasant experience he had with Kingsway Branch of Punjab National Bank in the city.
In a letter addressed to CEO, Punjab National Bank, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi, the NRI Dr Chandansingh Thethi heartily praised the Chief Manager of Kingsway Branch for his extraordinary cooperation. Dr Thethi says, “My mother is 102-year old. The feeble lady could not go to bank as she does not walk. She has a Fixed Deposit of Rs 7 lakh and wanted to withdraw the cash for her care. I, as her son, presented the situation to Chief Manager Subodh Kumar. He carefully listened to my problem and promised to help my mother.
“The Chief Manager Subodh Kumar immediately asked the bank’s Public Relations Officer, an intelligent girl, to go to my mother’s house, open a savings account and help her all the way. The young lady did what she had been told by Subodh Kumar. I was pleasantly shocked to experience such a helpful response from Subodh Kumar. I am in America since the past 50 years but never seen such a kind hearted attitude with a smile,” Dr Thethi states.
