A glimpse of VIT, Nagpur @Advantage Vidarbha exhibition in Nagpur

Nagpur: “Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav – Advantage Vidarbha,” took place in Nagpur from January 27 to January 29, 2024 in Nagpur. The event aimed to promote industrial development in Vidarbha and Maharashtra region and create a unified platform for Vidarbha industries to showcase their business potential and explore opportunities for business expansions, collaborations.

Vidarbha Institute of Technology, Nagpur (R & D), had put up a stall of innovative project ideas at Advantage Vidarbha (AV) exhibition. Speaking on the occasion Principal (V.I.T) Dr. S. B. Deshpande and Vice-Principal Dr. Nilesh Bodne said “Advantage Vidarbha is not just an industrial expo, it’s a vision. A vision which we as an industry look out for making a stronger and consistent contribution to make India a self-reliant nation with our contribution of made in Vidarbha”.

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road, Transport, and Highways had inaugurated the event with Devendra Fadnavis Deputy Chief Minister Maharashtra, and other dignitaries.

Dr. C. C. Handa, In-charge Vidarbha Advantage Exhibition and Principal K.D.K College of Engineering, Nagpur has been the torch-bearer of development drive in the nation and its vision which has made this landmark expo a reality. Advantage Vidharbha exhibition, expo witnessed participation of over 250 exhibitors, representing a diverse range of 43 business sectors of the region.

Jugal Maheswari (Secretary K.D.M. Education Society, Nagpur) boosted confidence by coordinating Vidarbha Advantage. Prof. Vaibhav Banker, Prof. Saurabh V. Lawate, Dr. Nilesh Gole, Prof. Kiran Kimmatakr & participating staff Prof. Manjeet Sakhare, Prof. Narendra Malode, Prof. Himanshu Mhatre, Prof. Akshay Juware and students worked at exhibition stall @ Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav – Advantage Vidarbha.
