The Academic Council of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has given its nod and finalized the draft ordinance for conduction of special examinations for 6616 students of 63 banned colleges. An emergent meeting of the Academic Council was convened on Thursday, July 3 and after the discussion, the draft ordinance finally got ready and passed unanimously by the Council members.
Now, this draft ordinance will be tabled in the Management Council meeting for final stamp of approval. The Management Council meeting is scheduled to be held on July 7. Thereafter, it will be sent to Governor’s Office for its consent and issuance.
Media Coordinator of RTMNU informed that the schedule and preparation for exams are ready. When the Vice Chancellor gives the order, the schedule of exams will be announced.
However, report of Dr. Baban Taywade Committee pertaining to the issue of 50 percent university approved teachers could not be placed today. The committee was to give its recommendations in 7 days.
