Social Security wing of city police busts sex racket

On May 21, on the basis of a tip off, social security wing of city police raided a house in Yashodhara police station jurisdiction, at HB Nagar, Plot no. A/033, Kalamna Road and arrested one Seema alias Shivani Kamlesh Mishra, 38, who was running prostitution. Shivani had also dragged two needy girls in the racket. Police rescued the girls. Shivani has been arrested under sections 3,4,5,7 of   Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act 1956, for inducing/coercing the girls into the racket by Yashodhara police.

The action was carried out under guidance of additional police commissioner (crime) Sunil Kolhe and as per directives of assistant police commissioner, Madhav Giri by police inspector, B M Pawar, police sub-inspector, Barapatre, Patil, police sub-inspector, Kohale, Madane, police constable, Pandurang Nikure, Prakash Sidam, Sanjay Telmasare, Ajay Ghatod, Manda Khandade and Nilesh.
