Crime branch sleuths arrest two thieves of gang

Nagpur News : Getting information about a planned burglary, the crime branch arrested two of a gang before they could attempt one on Monday late night.

The Crime branch received information that a gang of thieves is planning a burglary in Sakkardara area.On Monday at around 11 pm, a team of Crime Branch started patrolling in the area and noticed five persons in a suspicious position near Shitla Mata Mandir, Shindiban. The cops approached the persons in question and recovered a sword, bundle of nylon rope and a knife from their possession. Though the police have arrested two thieves of the gang, the remaining three managed to escape from the scene.

The thieves have been identified as Mirza Zulfikar Baig alias Bittu Mirza Aziz Baig (19), a resident of Ashirwad Nagar; Sachin alias Daddu Sandhulal Pardhi (25), a resident of Gramullah, Khairi; Vijay Kaliya Prajapati (23), a native of Kota, Rajasthan and a resident of Tajabad, Shindiban; Premlal Aadiwasi Inderlal Raut (45), a resident of Hondra Parda, Tajabad while identity of the fifth accused is yet to be established. Cops have arrested Mirza Baig and Premlal Raut.

Sakkardara police have registered an offence under sections 399 read with sub section 4+25 and 135 of Mumbai Police Act and have launched search for the remaining three thieves.
