Bajrang Dal activists observe Akhand Bharat Sankalp Din by taking out a “Mashal” Rally

The Bajrang Dal activists went patriotic fittingly on the eve of Independence Day and undertook a “Mashal” Rally (Torch Rally). The Mashal Rally symbolized “Akhand Bharat Sankalp Din”(United India Revolution Day) and to protest Partition of India. It was in midnight August 15, 1947 a United India was partitioned and a separate Pakistan was carved out. The “Mashal” Rally is undertaken every year by Bajrang Dal to mark Akhand Bharat Sankalp Din.

The Torch Rally was undertaken under the leadership of Umesh Pradhan, Organiser, Bajrang Dal, Maharashtra. Other prominent  leaders including Shrikant Aglave, General Secretary, VHP, Nagpur, Amol Palandurkar, Subodh Acharya, member of VHP Office-Bearers, Amol Ambekar and other dozens of Bajrang Dal activists.

The rally was peaceful and no untoward incident was reported.
