Nagpur: A cable drum comprising 305 meter long cable was reportedly stolen under the jurisdiction of Jaripatka police between Oct 7 and 10.
The cable drum was estimated around Rs 2,44,000.
Complainant Chandrashekar Laxman Kose (35), a resident of Mudliar lay-out, told police that he had placed the cable drum near Govind Medical between Oct 7 and 10 and was planning it to move in few days. However in the meantime some unidentified elements reportedly stole the cable drum.
Followed by the compliant of Chandrashekar, Jaripatka police have registered an offence against the anonymous accused under section 379 of IPC. Further probe is underway.
