Farmers, youths must avail benefits of State schemes: Bawankule

Nagpur: “A slew of schemes are being implemented under Annasaheb Patil Artik Vikas Mahamandal for benefit of farmers and youths. Through these schemes, job and self-employment opportunities are being made available. The youths should avail benefits of the schemes and reform their lives in befitting manner,” said the State Energy Minister and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule here on Friday.

Bawankule was speaking after releasing special issue of Lokrajya magazine on Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj who was considered a true democrat and social reformer. The programme was held at Ravibhavan Hall. Other dignitaries present on the occasion include MSEDCL’s Regional Director Bhalchandra Khandait, Chief Engineer Dilip Ghugal, Director of Information Radhakrishna Muli, District Information Officer Anil Gadekar and others.

“Lokrajya Magazine, published by State Government, is excellent medium of reaching various important decisions and schemes to common people. The State Government has accorded top priority to education in accordance with the ideals of Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj. The Annasaheb Patil Artik Vikas Mahamandal’s various schemes have provided farmers and youths job and self-employment opportunities in large numbers,” Bawankule said.

He said September 21 is observed as Education Revolution Day as primary education to all regardless of caste and creed was one of Shahu Maharaj’s most significant priorities.
