Nagpur: Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) organised a separate candle marches to protest the rape cases on Sunday. The party workers demanded for justice to be given to both the minors and sever punishments to be imposed against the wrongdoer.
City Congress President Vikas Thakre, former MP Vilas Muttemwar, Umakant Agnihotri along with others protested at Variety Square to criticize the growing crime taking place against women in India.
Nationalist Congress Party also demonstrated against the incident under the guidance of former Minister Anil Deshmukh, City President Anil Ahirkar, Dilip Pankule and many were present.
