Nagpur: ‘Swar Yatra,’ a musical programme organised in memory of Padmashri Vindhyvasini Devi recently was widely appreciated by the audience. A galaxy of renowned and budding artistes from Maharashtra, Bihar and Delhi presented a number of folk songs, classical music and film songs. A journey from folk songs to classical music to film songs left the avid listeners spellbound. The event captured the cultures of Bihar and Maharashtra in beautiful and captivating music. To top it all, the mesmerising rendition of violin by Surmani Pt Prabhakar Dhakde Guruji was enjoyed by audience to the fullest all the more as such an event was held in Nagpur after a long spell.
