Nagpur: The University Grants Commission’s (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) examination will be held on July 8. The age eligibility criteria for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) under the UGC NET has been changed, the maximum age limit for appearing has been raised by two years that is 30 years. The candidates appearing for the UGC NET can apply online from 6 March, 2018 and the last date for applying is 5 April 2018 The fees can be deposited till 6 April 2018.
As per the revised scheme the NET pattern has been changed. Instead of three papers, there will be only two papers. The first paper will be of 100 marks. The first paper will contain 50 objective question of general Aptitude test and is compulsory. The Paper-II of 200 marks will contain objective questions related to the subject selected by candidates.
