Nagpur: Indian Fire Service Games – 2018 are being organised for the first time in the country and will be held at Nagpur, National Fire Service College (New Campus) and Divisional Sports Complex. The games will be conducted under the aegis of Directorate of Civil Defense, Home Guards and Fire Service, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The event is of great importance for nation building and these games will bring people together and will generate synergy in their service.
The inaugration of the games will be held at 4 PM on 2 February, 2018 in Divisional Sports Complex, Koradi Road, Nagpur.
About 1500 participants from across the nation including State Fire Departments, airports, other industries and disciplines and PSUs will take part in the games. The games comprise of multiple sports and all over 350 Trophies are waiting to be won by the participants.
In addition the participants will showcase latest fire fighting equipment and technology both from the country and abroad. Heads of various organizations, Chief Fire Officers and other senior dignitaries are attending the event.
