Nagpur: The Independence Day picnic turned into a tragedy for a youngster as he drowned at a lake in Mahadula. The deceased has been identified as Yash Meshram.
According to sketchy details, a group of 4-5 friends had gone to Waki to have picnic on Independence Day holiday. Yash and one more friend went to Mahadula lake for swimming. Unfortunately, Yash met with a watery grave. His body has not been traced as yet. Parseoni cops reached the spot and probing the matter. All the friends were residents of Gittikhadan area of the city.
