Kolhapur : IPS officer Vishwas Nangre-Patil, suffered minor injury in an accident near Kolhapur Airport this evening, police said.
Nangre-Patil is posted as Inspector General of Police for Kolhapur range.
The accident occurred when he was going to receive Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at airport in his official car, said police.

The driver of the car lost control and it fell in a trench near the road, police said.
Nangre-Patil suffered minor injury. He was taken to a nearby hospital, they said.
He is safe and has been advised rest by doctors, police added.
