Nagpur: In another hit-and-run accident, a middle-aged man was knocked dead by a Hyundai car at Medical Square in the small hours of Thursday. The deceased, an unidentified man in the age group of 40-45 years, was crossing the road in front of Gangaur Hotel near Medical Square around 2 am of Thursday. At the same time, a speeding Hyundai car hit him and fled the spot. The critically injured man died on the spot. Passerby informed the Ajni police about accident. A team of cops reached the spot and sent body of the unidentified man to GMCH for post-mortem.
API Gawande has registered a case against the unidentified driver of the Hyundai car under Sections 279, 337, 338, 304(A) of the IPC and searching for him.
