Nagpur: A brutal late-night murder outside a local liquor den at the busy Rajkamal Chowk spread panic across the area. The victim, identified as 32-year-old Vishal Bansode, was allegedly attacked during a heated dispute that quickly turned violent.
The accused, Virji Balaji Kavetiya (37), attempted to flee immediately after the crime. His escape didn’t last long. Ajni Police, acting with sharp precision, launched a rapid response, cordoned off the area, and arrested him within minutes.
Witnesses describe the swift police action as “remarkable,” noting that such a timely response prevented the accused from disappearing into the night. Officers also recovered crucial evidence from the crime scene, strengthening the investigation.
