Shiv Sena Introduces New ‘North Indian Face’ in East Vidarbha; Sumukh Mishra Appointed Coordinator

Nagpur – Injecting new energy into the political landscape of East Vidarbha, the Shiv Sena has taken a significant organisational step by appointing Sumukh Mishra as the Coordinator of the North Indian Cell. Acting on the directives of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena Secretary Sanjay More handed over the official appointment letter to Mishra.

A Recognised Firebrand Leader-
The party’s decision comes in the backdrop of the rising population and growing political influence of the North Indian community in Nagpur and surrounding districts. Known for his firebrand leadership style, Sumukh Mishra has been entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening the organisation by engaging with youth, women, and the working-class population across East Vidarbha.

The appointment letter underlines the importance of promoting Balasaheb Thackeray’s Hindutva ideology and the organisational style of Dharmaveer Anand Dighe. Mishra has also been instructed to submit a monthly report of activities to the Balasaheb Bhavan, Mumbai, ensuring direct review by the central leadership.

Strengthening North Indian Representation in Nagpur-
With this appointment, Shiv Sena now has an officially designated face to connect with the North Indian community in Nagpur. Party insiders believe that this move will accelerate organisational expansion efforts across the region.

Expressing gratitude, Sumukh Mishra thanked Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, and East Vidarbha Coordinator Kiran Pandav for their trust. He affirmed his commitment to strengthening the party while working in coordination with Minister of State Ashish Jaiswal, MLA Narendra Bhondekar, and MLA Kripal Tumane.

Commitment to Balasaheb Thackeray’s Ideals-
“The trust placed in me by the party will be honoured with complete dedication. Balasaheb Thackeray’s principle of ‘80% social work and 20% politics’ will guide my actions. I will take the message of Hindutva to every household,” Mishra said with conviction.
