Nagpur: The body of a 23-year-old student who had been missing for three days was recovered from Futala Lake on Sunday morning, sending shockwaves across the area.
The deceased has been identified as Harsh Tulshidas Sahare, a resident of Indora, Jaripatka, and a second-year BSc student at Hislop College. Harsh had gone missing on November 7, following which his worried relatives lodged a missing complaint at Jaripatka Police Station.

Around 7 am on Sunday, morning walkers noticed a body floating in the lake and immediately alerted the police. Acting swiftly, a team from Ambazari Police Station reached the spot and conducted a panchnama. The body was later identified as that of Harsh Sahare.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. The police have registered a case of accidental death and initiated further investigation.
