Successful Completion of MAHACRITICON 2025 in Nagpur

Nagpur: The Society of Critical Care Medicine, Nagpur, successfully hosted the 13th Annual State Conference of Critical Care Medicine – MAHACRITICON 2025 from November 7th to 9th at Hotel Centre Point, Nagpur. The three-day academic event saw enthusiastic participation from renowned faculty members across India, medical professionals, postgraduate students, and delegates from various states.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. P. P. Joshi, Executive Director, AIIMS Nagpur, who served as the Chief Guest, in the presence of Dr. Vinky Rughwani, Prashasak MMC, the Guest of Honour, along with several distinguished dignitaries and members of the organizing committee.

The event featured a series of hands-on workshops covering key areas such as Critical Care Nursing, Mechanical Ventilation, Ultrasound in ICU, and Hemodynamic Monitoring, providing valuable practical training for young ICU doctors and students.

A wide range of scientific sessions followed, including keynote lectures, case discussions, and panel sessions on crucial topics like trauma and poisoning. Experts from reputed institutions across the country shared their insights on the latest advances and innovations in Critical Care Medicine, making the conference a true academic feast.

The event also hosted a State-level quiz competition on various aspects of Critical Care Medicine, with 10 medical colleges participating. Six teams reached the final round, and the team from IGMC Nagpur emerged as the winner.

Over 850 delegates registered for the conference, while around 100 faculty members from Nagpur and other parts of India delivered lectures on pressing topics in the field, ensuring that every session was both informative and enriching.

The Organising Chairman, Dr. Deepak Jeswani, and Organising Secretary, Dr. Sudhir Chafle, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all faculty members, delegates, sponsors, and volunteers for their enthusiastic support and contribution to the success of MAHACRITICON 2025.

The conference concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where appreciation certificates were distributed.
