Nagpur: Assistant Police Inspector (API) Shivaji Laxman Nanavare of Nagpur City Police has brought immense pride to the force and the nation by successfully scaling Mount Everest (8,848.86 m), along with Makalu (8,485 m), Manaslu (8,163 m), and Lhotse (8,516 m), all towering peaks above 8,000 metres.

With this extraordinary achievement, API Nanavare has become the only police officer in India to conquer all four of these world-renowned summits. His rare feat has been officially recognized and recorded in the ‘India Book of Records 2025.’
