Ailing Nagpur Jail inmate dies en route to GMCH

Nagpur: A 34-year old man undergoing imprisonment in the Nagpur Central Jail died on way to Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) on Wednesday evening.

A native of Udimod, Tehsil Etawah, district Budpura, Uttar Pradesh, Narendrasingh Uttamsingh Goyal (Prisoner No C/10390) was convicted by the sessions court in a criminal case and sent to jail. While Goyal was undergoing imprisonment, his health started deteriorating on Wednesday. The jail staff rushed him to GMCH but on the way, he breathed his last.
