Nagpur: The police recovered two marbles on Tuesday from the MK’s Lodging and Boarding Hotel on Outer Ring Road in Hudkeshwar police jurisdiction. Earlier, there were allegations that some miscreants had fired bullets at the front glass facade of the hotel on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, police summoned ballistics experts from the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory (RFSL) to inspect the holes made in the glass. It’s learnt the experts could not trace gunpowder or any carbon lining around the periphery of the holes, which is a telltale sign of a bullet piercing a surface.

The rumour of firing had gathered pace after two round holes were spotted on the front glass facade. Unconfirmed sources had said two bike-borne miscreants had fired at the hotel.
