The Election Commission of India has extended the ban on rallies till February 11.

The Election Commission permits physical rallies with a maximum capacity of 1000 people; indoor meetings with a maximum capacity of 500 people. The earlier limit used to be 300 people or 50% of the capacity of the hall.
