Nagpur: A policeman, who tried to save a girl from clutches of two eve-teasers, was heckled and thrashed by the two offenders in the busy Dhantoli area on Monday evening.
The complainant Police Constable Duryodhan Chindhuji Bhoyar of Dhantoli Police Station was on a patrolling duty on Monday. Around 4.30 pm, the policeman spotted two unidentified youths teasing and pestering a girl at MSEB Office near Vijayanand Society Building in Dhantoli.
The cop immediately shouted at the two eve-teasers and warned them of a stern action. However, in a backlash of sorts, the two accused goons turned their wrath on the policeman by heckling and thrashing him in full public view. The two accused eve-teasers even threatened to kill the Police Constable Duryodhan Bhoyar.

Based on a complaint, Dhantoli PSI Pawar has registered a case against the two offenders under Sections 353, 506, 294, 34 of IPC and searching for them.
