Nagpur: The Installation Ceremony of new body of Vidarbha Ophthalmic Society 2016-17 headed by Dr. Prashant Bawankule as President and Dr. Viral Shah as Hon. Secretary, will be installed on Saturday 19th March, 2016 at 8 p.m. at Hotel Centre Point Ramdaspeth., Nagpur.

The Installation will be followed by “Dr. Sudha Sutaria Vitreo Retinal Oration” which will be delivered by Dr. Kim Ramasamy, Chief Consultant Vitreo Retinal Services, Arvind Eye Hospital Madurai. The topic of the Oration is “Diabetic Retinopathy Care in India” Dr.Anathraman Giridhar, Medical Director, Giridhar Eye Institute; Kochin will be Guest of Honour.
On 20th March, 2016, Sunday, in collaboration with Nagpur Academy of Ophthalmology (NAO))and Maharashtra Ophthalmic Society (MOS) a daylong session on Continuing Medical Education and Midterm Meet will be held at the same venue.
Dr. Rekha Dandekar President VOS, 2015-16 & Dr. Ratna Vishwakarma, Secretary, VOS, 2015-16 have requested Ophthalmologists and members to attend the function in large numbers.
