New Delhi/Nagpur: Indian cricket player Mohit Sharma got married with his longtime girlfriend Shweta on Tuesday. The right-arm medium pacer got married to Kolkata girl Shweta in Delhi. The wedding ceremony was attended by Mohit Sharma’s close friends and family. Some of the eminent members of the Indian cricket team like Unmukt Chand, Virendra Sehwag and few others were also part of the marriage ceremony. Mohit Sharma and Shweta’s marriage ceremony took place at the Hotel Leela Palace in Delhi.
The cricketer got engaged to his girlfriend on January 17, 2016 in Delhi in a private affair followed by a traditional wedding in Delhi. Both Mohit and Shweta looked aesthetically beautiful in their traditional attire. Sharma was dressed in a traditional beige and red coloured Sherwani and came to the wedding venue on top of a horse. While the bride looked stunning in a beige and green Lehenga and traditional jewelry.
The wedding season seems to go and on for the Indian cricketers, recently Robin Uthappa and Dhawal Kulkarni bid their bachelor days goodbye and tied the knot. Sharma is currently not playing any tournament as he is suffering from an ankle injury. Although he was eyeing for the World T20, he could not make it to the final selection.
