Nagpur: Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dr Murli Manohar Joshi on Wednesday visited the RSS Headquarters here and met Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat. According to information, Dr Joshi had arrived in Nagpur the last night only and was staying in a hotel. Today morning around 9.45, Dr Joshi’s cavalcade left the Ramdaspeth-based hotel and reached the RSS HQ. The BJP stalwart held meeting with Bhagwat for about three hours and came out at about 12-45 pm. During the meeting, discussion was held on various subjects.
Dr M M Joshi is associated with RSS since years and was also HRD Minister in Vajpayee Government. His tenure was well appreciated by the RSS as well as intellectuals across the country. It is learnt that Dr Joshi and Bhagwat discussed the present issues confronting the nation particularly the JNU and Hyderabad University incidents.
Parliament is witnessing uproarious scenes and war of words between Modi Government and Opposition over the issues. HRD Minister is being specifically cornered by the combined Opposition after her blazing reply. Experts in the know of RSS see that the organization is standing behind the minister solidly. This and such other subjects could have figured in the meeting between Dr Joshi and Bhagwat.
