Nagpur: Two suicides were reported on Sunday under the jurisdiction of Dhantoli Police Station. One deceased has been identified as Manoj Bhayyalal Kadnake. The other is yet to be identified.
In the first incident, Manoj Kadnake (28), resident of Zenda Chowk, Takiya, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling fan in his house with the help of ‘odhni.’ Manoj took the extreme step around 4 pm on Sunday when he was alone. The reason behind the suicide could not be ascertained immediately. Dhantoli API B B Solanke and his team reached the spot on being informed. After completing the preliminary investigation, cops have sent Manoj’s body to GMCH for post-mortem. A case of accidental death has been registered and an in-depth probe is underway.
In the second incident, an unidentified man ended his life by hanging in a scooter garage near Mehadia Square. A team of policemen rushed to the scene and sent the body to GMCH for autopsy. After registering the case as accidental death the cops have launched a thorough investigation.
