A novel gesture to express love and care for others
Nagpur: In a novel gesture to express love and care for others, the school-children of Sainath Vidyalaya in Borda village under Parsheoni taluka visited the family of a suicide-affected farmer of Nayakund village of the same taluka and offered new clothes, sweets and crackers to the children of the said family to enable them to celebrate Diwali. To everyone’s praise, the school-children had arranged all these things from their pocket-money given to them by their parents. A divine smile surged on the face of the destitute mother of the children who lost their father, a couple of months ago.
Credit in this regard also goes to farmers-leader Sanjay Satyakar who played motivational role in motivating the school-children. He had made an appeal to all school-children to share their pocket-money for such a noble cause. In addition to this, Satyakar also collected money from his friends and well-wishers for this cause.
Greeting the destitute family on the occasion of Diwali, a team of social workers led by Satyakar also gifted sari, clothes and sweets to the mother of the children. Such a novel gesture brought smile with emotional tears on the faces of the destitute family members, and they had no words of thanks for the team members, as their tears thanked them. Experiencing the joy of such a help the school children were also in a state of euphoria.
It may be mentioned here that the debt-ridden farmer from Nayakund village, Harshal Tarachand Wasnik, 32, had committed suicide in month of April this year. He was much frustrated over the constant loss to his crops and growing burden of debts.
