Two 17-year old girls abducted in Hudkeshwar, Sadar areas; cops mount search

Nagpur: Two 17-year old girls went missing and have reportedly been abducted in Hudkeshwar and Sadar areas on Monday. Cops have launched massive search to trace the girls.

A Hudkeshwar-based complainant told police that his 17-year old daughter left the house without any information around 1.15 pm on Monday. The girl later went missing as efforts to find her at all possible places failed. Finally, a complaint was registered at Hudkeshwar Police Station by the girl’s panicky relatives.

API Patil, following directives of Supreme Court that any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has filed an offence under Section 363 of IPC and mounted a search to trace the girl.

Similarly, another 17-year old girl, resident of Sadar, went to her school as usual on Monday but did not return home. Her relatives scanned every corner of the city but failed to locate her. Ultimately, a report was filed at Sadar Police Station by her parents.

PSI Pandav, in this case too, following directives of Supreme Court that any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered an offence under Section 363 of IPC and searching to trace the 17-year old girl.
