Nagpur: Seven persons, including two women and two juvenile boys, ransacked a medical stores and trashed a woman who was manning the medical shop in Jaripatka area here on Saturday night.
The complainant Shabina Parvin Mohd Azhar (31), resident of Kamgar Nagar, Jaripatka, told police that she was sitting in Sufitaj Medical Stores, Kamgar Nagar, on Saturday night. At around 9.30 pm, the seven accused namely Sheikh Imran alias Imma (25), Imma’s brother, Sheikh Shahabaj (18), Shahista Parvin (35), Shabnam (19) and two delinquent boys forcibly entered the medical stores and went on rampage. The accused smashed counter glass, threw medicine boxes, and pulled Shabina out of the medical shop by holding her hair. Outside the shop, the accused bashed her up severely.
Jaripatka API K D Wagh, based on Shabina’s complaint, registered an offence against the seven accused under Sections 143, 147, 149, 448, 323, 504, 427 of the IPC and launched a probe.
