Nagpur: A 60-year old pervert man raped 8-year old daughter of tenant and also threatened to kill her if she narrated his heinous act to her parents. The accused rapist has been arrested.
According to complainant tenant, resident of Ajni area, the accused Ratan Dodguji Nagdeve is landlord. Between midnight of May 18 and 2 pm of May 20, the accused called the tenant’s 8-year old daughter to his house on some pretext and raped her. The accused Ratan Nagdeve even threatened to kill the kid girl if she narrated the heinous incident to her parents. However, the victim girl recounted the ordeal to her parents. Shocked by the incident, the mother of the girl registered a case with Ajni police on June 1 in this connection.
Ajni PSI Magar, acting on the complaint, booked the rape accused Ratan Nagdeve under Sections 376(2), 506 of the IPC read with Sections 4, 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and arrested him. Further probe is underway.
