6 men threaten to kill aged woman, her son, grab their land worth crores

Nagpur: A group of six conmen allegedly doled out life threats to an elderly woman and her son and forcibly grabbed their land worth crores. The accused forged documents of the landed property and grabbed it in return of Rs 10,000 loan they had given to the mother-son duo.

The complainant Rukhmai Gajanan Vaidya (60), resident of near Savta Mandir, Ward No. 1, Kalmeshwar, told police that the accused persons namely Dilip Gwalvanshi (50), Sharad Tiwari (50), Namdeo Vaidya (60) of Kalmeshwar, Sarju Mandpe (48) of Kalemshwar and two nephews of Dilip Gwalvanshi threatened to kill her and her son and forged documents of landed property pertaining to 60 RC one and half acre land situated in Survey No. 102, Mauza Pipla Riti Kalmeshwar. The accused transferred the land worth crores in their names in return of Rs 10,000 loan they had given to Rukhmai and her son. The accused, with the help of the forged documents and life threats, grabbed the agriculture land forcibly.

Based on the complaint lodged by Rukhmai, Gittikhadan PSI V V Narwade has booked the accused under Sections 387, 419, 420, 465, 467, 447, 506(B), 427 of the IPC read with Sub-Section 120(B) of Maharashtra Money-Lending (Regulation) Act 2014 and launched a probe into the matter.
