A 40-year old, crossing all limits of sanity and putting even a monster to shame, raped a 2-year old girl in Sakkardara area of city on Sunday (November 30). However, a complaint in the most heinous crime was lodged on Tuesday. The evil man has so far not been arrested.
According to police, the accused Mohan Lahanuji Jivne (40), resident of Bhande Plot in Sakkardara area, took the complainant’s 2-year old daughter to his house on some pretext but with diabolical designs. The accused Mohan Jivne, without giving a thought, established physical contact with the kid. Parents of the kid noticed the horrible crime when the girl reached home.
Sakkardara Senior PSI Yelkewar, based on a complaint filed in this connection and after conducting medical tests, booked the accused Mohan Lahanuji Jivne under Sections 375(B), 376(I)(J) of the IPC and Sub-Sections 3, 4, 5, 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012. The accused has not been arrested so far.
