Nagpur: Four road robbers way laid two lovers and relieved them of valuables worth Rs 4200 at knife-point. The boy also received stab injury on his hand when the goons attacked him with the weapon. The incident took place in Nandanvan area on Friday night. No arrests have been made in the case.
The boy, Sheikh Rizwan Sheikh Rafiq (24), resident of near Besa Power House, and his girlfriend Sonu Bekate (22) were talking to each other on phone in front of Gulmohar Lawns, Shrikrushna Nagar Post-Jaibhim Nagar Square Road, in Nandanvan area around 8.45 pm on Friday. At the same time, the accused Jazir Ahmed Saeed Ahmed (33) of Hasanbagh and his three accomplices accosted them and demanded valuables from two lovers at knife-point. As Sheikh Rizwan protested, the accused hit him on his hand with the knife and injured him. Later, the four goons robbed the two friends of their mobile phone, cash collectively valued at Rs 4200 and fled the spot.
