Nagpur: A group of four persons attempted to murder a youngster by attacking him with sharp-edged spear over old enmity. The four accused also attacked his brother and mother when they tried to save from the murderous assault. All the assailants reportedly have been arrested.
According to police, the four accused Bablu Shivkumar Jutelkar (30), Munna Savkilal Gondane (32), Umesh Gondane (30), all residents of Santosh Nagar, and Ashwin Mahto (22) of Nagsen Nagar connived with each other and attacked Nitin Dashrath Satpute (22) of the same area over old enmity. The accused pierced a sharp-edged spear into stomach of Nitin and inflicted grievous injury with the intention of eliminating him on the spot. When Nitin’s brother Rajesh (22) and mother tried to save him from the murderous assault, they too were attacked and injured.
Yashodhara Nagar API Chitampalle, acting on the complaint of Rajesh Satpute, has booked the four accused under Sections 307, 324, 34 of the IPC read with Sub-Section 4+25 of Arms Act and reportedly arrested them.
