4 by 8 feet cake to mark Baba Tajuddin birth anniversary

Nagpur: Various programmes are being organised to mark birth anniversary of Sufi Saint Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Auliya across the city. Qawwalis, Sandals, cakes are cut, food distribution and other programmes are organised by ardent devotees of Baba Tajuddin with religious fervour. Thousands of devotees, both Hindu and Muslim, from far off places visit the Tajbagh shrine of Baba with the mark of religious harmony and unity in diversity. They offer chadars at the Dargah of the Sufi Saint and seek blessings.

An organisation of devotees has decided to cut 4 by 8 feet cake weighing 51 kg on the occasion of birth anniversary of Baba Tajuddin Auliya. The cake is being prepared by Adil Kureshah (40), a worker at Mominpura-based Arman Bakery.

In the programme organised by Firoze Husain, the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will cut the cake at Cotton Market.
