32-year old man rapes 12-year old girl in name of treatment

Nagpur News: Nandanvan police have arrested a 32-year old man for molesting, and, also raping a 12-year old girl.

According to police, the accused man Rakesh Bhagwat Naik, a resident of Nandanvan slums, raped the girl on August 4 when she went to his house. The girl was suffering pain in stomach and went to the house of Rakesh for treatment. Rakesh took her to a separate room in the name of treating her and raped her. Nandanvan Police booked the accused man Rakesh under Section 376(1) of IPC and arrested him after the girl lodged a complaint with them in this connection.
