Nagpur: Three young girls robbed a co-passenger woman travelling in an auto in Kalamna area on Monday afternoon. The con girls relieved the woman of her cash Rs 4000 and mangalsutra worth Rs 54,000.
The victim, Mangala Ramlal Patghare (48), resident of Anajngaon, Mouda, had come to city on Monday by an auto. The three accused girls in age group of 25 years were also travelling in the auto. Midway, the girls slyly removed small purse from Mangala’s bag. The purse contained Rs 4000 in cash and gold mangalsutra worth Rs 54,000. The theft came to notice of Mangala when she disembarked from the auto at Old Pardi Post, Bhandara Road.
Kalamna PSI S K Morey has registered a case under Section 379 of the IPC and searching for the three girls.
