One of the most renowned charitable organization Worldwide’s, Nagpur chapter known as, Nagpur Round Table 83 since its commencement about 30 years back has made the best of what they could’ve done for the betterment of society. Their aims and objectives have since always revolved around the aspects like development of fellowship of young men through the medium of their business, professional occupations and community service activities, providing encouragement to the active and responsible citizenship by cultivating the highest ideals in business, professional and civic traditions, promoting international understanding, friendship and cooperation, along with the extension of the association.
The group in process of progressing further held its 29th Annual General Meeting today (July, the 15th, 2015) at hotel Centre Point, Nagpur.
The meeting commenced with a loyal Toast to the President of India, ahead of which the Notice convening the AGM was read. Following the above was the signature singing of Round Table India Song, reading of Aims and Objectives of RTI and introduction and welcoming of the guests and visiting Tablers.
The communications and greetings were shared, after which an indulging session of the appointment of Sergeant-at-arms took place, wherein, leg-pulling added to the amusement at the event.
The fact that the Tablers never fail to be courteous, was evident when humble apologies from the absent Tablers were mentioned.
After the vital reading and confirmation of Minutes of the 28th AGM, the matters at hand were put forth, following which was the presentation of Annual Report by the Secretary, and presentation and Approval of Audited Accounts for the year 2014-2015.
A quick session was evinced with the presentation of Gifts and Awards by the outgoing chairman to tablers excelling in the responsibilities assigned to them, during the year gone by.

The outgoing Chairman Tr Anurag Pashine became nostalgic during his speech wherein he remembered all the past events held successfully and went poignant saying, “He was able to achieve all that he had planned for the year gone by in terms of building new class rooms for the underprivileged children which is the basic agenda of Round table i.e freedom through education and a lot many more events such as Blind Man’s Car Rally and Comedy for a Cause but he was very specific in mentioning that nothing could have been achieved without the support of all tablers of the association. With this he closed his address for the evening.
And finally, the highlight and most awaited part of the evening was the announcement of the investiture of the incoming Office Bearers for 2015-2016, following the speech by the incoming Chairman Tr. Gaurav Agarwal gathered applauses, wherein he presented his team for the year.

Thereafter he presented his events calendar wherein he showcased all activities planned for the year well in advance. The floor agreed that this would greatly help in planning & executing the events in a much better manner. Also, he appointed his Convenors for the year who were each pinned with a unique round table pin based on the segment assigned to them.
Finally the budget, proposed auditors were presented to the floor for approval.
Everybody present for the evening i.e. the entire NRT group felt euphoric and it was a matter of pride when the resolution was taken by the authorized incoming Office Bearers.
The AGM came to an end with the address by the Chief Guest at the do, followed by food and drinks.
