Nagpur: Sonegaon police have booked a Manish Nagar based man for sexually exploiting a 29-year-old woman over false marriage promise between March 1, 2017 and Nov 1, 2018.
The accused has been identified as Sachin Pandurang Makde (29), resident of Shantivihar Colony, Manish Nagar.
The survivor reportedly met the accused back in 2017 through a common friend. Soon the duo started talking on social media platforms and later developed a love affair. In the meantime, Makde had expressed his sexual desire towards the 29-year-old survivor. As he promised to marry her, the complainant also gave consent to his advances.
However, when the complainant expressed her will to marry him, accused Makde stopped entertaining her and also stopped taking her calls and texts. Sensing something amiss, she approached Makde’s residence but he refused to meet her.
Subsequently, she rushed to Sonegoan police and filed a complaint against the accused.
Sonegoan police have booked accused Makde under relevant section and started the probe.
