23 entrepreneurs given permissions to convert agriculture land into NA land for industries

Sachin Kurve copyNagpur: The District Collector Sachin Kurve on Friday informed that till now 23 entrepreneurs have been given permissions to set up industrial units by converting the agriculture land to non-agricultural land. The entrepreneurs belong to different taluka places in Nagpur District, said Kurve.

Earlier, it was a cumbersome task to convert agriculture land to non-agriculture land. However, the District Collector has developed a new software that facilitates completion of lesser formalities and providing of permissions to entrepreneurs for starting their ventures.

Mauza-wise camps for applications for ‘ferfar’ shortcomings:
During the February 11-19 Mauza-wise camps for ‘ferfar’ formalities, shortcomings were detected in 250 applications. To remove the shortcomings, a camp has been organized at Bachat Bhavan in Collectorate Office under City Survey Office No. 3. The camp will be held on February 29. Similarly, under City Survey No. 2, the camp will be held on March 2 from11 am to 3 pm. A total of 1034 applications were received for ‘ferfar’ in 54 Mauzas. Out of these applications, 784 applications were approved for further course of action in ‘ferfar.’
